Wuhan BSL-4 lab is claimed to just having started production in 2003 (if we trust the Chinese narrative), the same year SARS first appeared in China (SARS and MERS were coronaviruses, which is why this one is called "novel").

Interesting how a coronavirus outbreak happened just before the 2004 incumbent Republican Presidential election, and once again (but much worse) before the 2020 incumbent Republican Presidential election. What can we expect in another 4 or 8 years? I guess we should all vote Democrat to avoid another and maybe worse, coronavirus outbreak.

But, I'm sure it's just coincidence.

Of course, the story we want to hear is that the virus was being studied and something allowed it to escape. But the reality may be much worse. What if what the Chinese government is saying is true, that it came from local animals? If that's true it begs the question, how did the animals get it, in the same city as the only level 4 bio lab in the country? And right before a POTUS election year where the incumbent is Republican, just like the first coronavirus when the bio lab was first formed? I'm sure it's just coincidence.

Of course, the Chinese government isn't known for its transparency, including such innocuous things as manipulating the exchange rate to boost the Chinese economy. But, maybe that's not true.

If you're wondering if you can trust their narrative, look for evidence of the Chinese government propaganda and attacking media outlets (like the Epoch Times) that don't comply, among other tactics that violate everything (real) Americans hold dear. Maybe that's just anti-Chinese propaganda.

Remember the power and control that communism wields and the inability throughout the history of our species to wield such power appropriately. But maybe the Chinese Communist Party is comprised of superhuman beings who wield their power ethically and morally.

I know from being privy to such information that Chinese espionage is very different than Russia's (which is still as active as it ever was, and they've held joint military exercises with the Chinese).

The Chinese focus on the subtle, the common, the everyday. It would thus seem in character that an "oops" release of a virus would be more subtle than a military attack, or maybe it's just a new style of global recon.

Face Masks: Asia vs. U.S.A.

Seeing Japanese people wearing facemasks was a common thing the last time I visited Japan, 13 years ago. Those I saw wearing facemasks were in high enough frequency it was remarkable to me. The Japanese I worked with over there described wearing masks as a proven method to prevent spreading illness and their civic duty to wear them if they're ill. Today you'll see most Japanese wearing facemasks. Could that have contributed to why they have only one case of COVID-19 in every 120,500 people and 30% fewer deaths, while the U.S. has one case in every 12,325 people? We have only 2.6 times as many citizens in the U.S.A. but we have 26 times more geographically area than Japan, making them 10 times as densely populated, and that is conservative given most of the population is in less than half the area. Ultraviolet Radiation on SARS-CoV2

Just sharing my thoughts on the impact of Ultraviolet (UV) light in sunlight on deactivating the Coronavirus. I've read articles and news reports saying sunlight doesn't kill the virus. I think they wrote such simply because Trump said it did. They mentioned the various wavelengths of UV light and how only the shortest are effective at deactivating the virus. They only offered an opinion about its lack of effectiveness against SARS-CoV2 citing past studies loosely relevant to back various points of their opinion. But they did not themselves study the effect of sunlight on the virus. There are three bands (range of wavelengths) of UV light identified based on their interactions with biological material. Understand that a band is a range of wavelengths. The shorter wavelengths are the most dangerous to genetic material.
